Saturday, August 29
Join the Outreach Team and First Baptist Church for a morning of serving our community! Volunteers will work at local ministries, including Fifth Street Ministries, Iredell Christian Ministries, Yokefellow, Brown Grief Center, Children's Hope Alliance, and the First Baptist Clothing Closet. The morning begins with a light breakfast and brief orientation at 8:30 AM, with teams departing at 9:00 AM. Please wear work clothes and bring a water bottle. Projects are available for all ages and abilities, including indoor opportunities. Sign up here, on Sunday mornings, or by contacting Anna Gordon or Susan Tharpe. You'll choose your service location on the day of the event.

Following our day of service, we’ll gather for one combined worship service 11 AM in Memorial Hall to celebrate our partnership, reflect on the impact of our work, and hear from a community leader about how we can continue making a difference throughout the year.

A meaningful, traditional service with music, prayer, and choir.
