There are many ways you can support Broad Street United Methodist Church. Read the list of highlighted items below and fill out the form to share your interest. Though many programs are on-hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, you will be contacted once ready to resume.
ALTAR GUILD
The altar guild is divided into several groups that happen particular areas such as acolytes, flowers, communion, funerals, special services, and weddings.
WORSHIP
Each Sunday in worship we need ushers, acolytes, a crucifer, a sound technician, and a liturgist (read scripture).
MUG MINISTRY
Help the Witness Team deliver mugs to welcome our new visitors! The goal of this ministry is to offer a sincere 'thank you' to first-time visitors.
CARE TEAM
The Care Team includes our hospital and shut-in visitation as well as providing meals for families who have had a death in their family. This is an excellent ministry that facilitates our congregation taking care of one another!.
YOUTH
We have some incredible young people here at BSUMC!! We are a fun loving crew that likes to play hard and serve whole heartedly. You can serve with the youth by helping with Sunday school, Sunday Night Youth, chaperoning mission trips and other fellowship events & preparing dinner for UMYF.
CHILDREN
Serve with our children by volunteering in the Nursery, teaching Sunday School, helping with Kids Own Worship and MUCH more. There are lots of opportunities to be involved with the children at BSUMC so please let us know if you are interested!
HOSPITALITY TEAM
The hospitality team welcome and assists new persons entering our church for worship or other services such as funerals. Join this awesome team and serve on a rotating basis!
OFFICE RECEPTION
These persons greet those who enter our office during office hours, answer the phone and direct calls and occasionally help with office related tasks like stuffing envelopes, etc.
