BACKPACK MINISTRY
This ministry provides weekend meals for local students who have little or nothing to eat other than meals provided by their school lunch programs. This ministry collects food donations, shops for food items, prepares meal bags and delivers them to local schools.
IREDELL CHRISTIAN MINISTRies: Food Pantry and Crisis Center
Broad Street UMC collects supplies each month and then delivers them to ICM. Bring your donations to the church.
FIFTH STREET MINISTRIES and My Sisters House
'A night shelter, emergency shelter/transitional housing, soup kitchen outreach program for the homeless mentally ill, nurse clinic, educational programs, therapeutic opportunities, services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault including safe shelter, victim advocacy with in the judicial system, hospital accompaniment, group and individual counseling are the primary services offered.'
